JeweLuxe World Unveils Four-Month Luxury Extravaganza: “Celebrating a Stronger Singapore”
SINGAPORE – DECEMBER 2021 – Jeweluxe World is set to firmly establish Singapore’s position on the global luxury map with the launch of its ambitious four-month festival dedicated to fine jewellery, exquisite timepieces, cutting-edge fashion, and opulent lifestyle experiences. Kicking off on December 8th, 2021, at the New Concept Pop-Up Gallery at #01-11 Scott Square, this iconic event, aptly themed “Celebrating a Stronger Singapore,” is thoughtfully curated to embrace evolving consumer habits through a dynamic blend of digital and physical engagements.
Pioneering a New Era of Luxury: The Vision Behind JeweLuxe
Angela Loh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of JeweLuxe, articulated the festival’s critical mission: to cast a renewed spotlight on Singapore’s remarkable capability to safely host premier international luxury events. This landmark gathering serves as an open invitation to global industry heavyweights and promising young designers alike, providing them with an unparalleled platform to unveil their groundbreaking and iconic creations. The event caters to both discerning Singaporean patrons and a growing influx of international shoppers, eager to immerse themselves in the world of high luxury.
Now in its 5th edition, Jeweluxe 2021 enjoys robust backing from the Singapore Tourism Board, underscoring its national significance and strategic role in revitalizing the luxury sector. This year’s festival also lays crucial groundwork for JeweLuxe 2022, which organizers confidently anticipate will be conscientiously unveiled at the esteemed Ngee Ann City venue in October of the coming year. The future edition promises to be an even grander affair, welcoming an expansive array of jewellery brands, designers, lifestyle purveyors, and an international clientele.
Accessible Luxury for a Modern World: Prices Starting from SGD800
JeweLuxe 2021 is not solely about pavé diamonds and multi-million dollar masterpieces. Recognizing a profound shift in consumer preferences, especially exacerbated by the global pandemic, there has been a significant surge in demand for more accessible jewellery suitable for everyday styling. The absence of red-carpet events and grand galas has lessened the traditional need for haute joaillerie, prompting a re-evaluation of luxury’s role. As Angela Loh insightfully puts it, “Celebrating a Stronger Singapore” acts as a powerful catalyst to reflect, regroup, re-engage, and cultivate a deeper, more mindful appreciation for luxury that was perhaps once overly glorified.
The festival meticulously curates ready-to-wear pieces that boast flawless engineering and are within reach of the average luxury consumer, with exquisite jewellery starting from an attractive SGD800. Jeweluxe has hand-picked a selection of established brands and visionary independent designers, catering to shoppers who are wisely diverting their discretionary income towards luxury items that offer genuine provenance and meaningful value.
Angela Loh further elaborated on JeweLuxe’s strategic approach: “We are profoundly grateful to be cautiously emerging from this pandemic, and we are strategically positioned to deliver enhanced value propositions and profoundly meaningful experiences to consumers across three key perspectives.”
Firstly, the festival aims to elevate the intrinsic value of precious purchases by presenting a thoughtful curation of iconic designs and compelling craftsmanship from independent brands that have demonstrably stood the test of time.
Secondly, JeweLuxe champion’s a new consciousness, giving rise to a fresh proposition of purposeful luxury and the undeniable power of community. This year’s edition will prominently feature brands that share a common vision for giving back and doing good, complemented by engaging activities designed to foster unity in diversity.
In addition, the organizers are proactively scaling the festival’s digital prowess, seamlessly transferring physical shopper interactions into an immersive virtual universe. This commitment extends to elevating content that remains at the forefront of engagement through sophisticated, cutting-edge digital experiences.
Embracing the Metaverse: Exclusivity and Authenticity with JeweLuxe’s First NFT Launch
A pivotal announcement came from Nelson Lee, Co-founder and COO of JeweLuxe World, regarding the much-anticipated launch of JeweLuxe’s first series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). This initiative is deemed critical in spearheading new-age luxury, especially as a growing number of shoppers migrate exclusively online, and in proactively mitigating ongoing challenges posed by the global pandemic.
“As we collectively transcend into a metaverse-ready world, JeweLuxe is poised to create, for the very first time, four unique NFTs in an exclusive partnership with four distinguished individuals from society, all united under the powerful theme of ‘STRONGER’. These will be unveiled to the burgeoning crypto-economy community,” stated Nelson. He highlighted the astounding growth in the NFT market, noting over $2.5 billion in sales in the first half of 2021, with an impressive $1.2 billion in July alone – a clear indicator of exponential growth within the blockchain space throughout the pandemic.
Nelson further emphasized, “The launch of JeweLuxe’s inaugural NFT collection will mark a defining moment where Singapore’s society of affluent and influential individuals converge to forge a collective voice of courage and hope for a brighter future, irrespective of the lingering challenges of COVID-19.”
The festival promises truly hybrid shopping experiences, seamlessly blending the best of both worlds. These will include a carefully curated selection of intimate red-carpet trunk shows, with catwalks extending into the virtual realm. In-store sampling adventures will be complemented by insightful broadcasts and shared online across JeweLuxe World’s e-commerce platform and various social media channels. Shoppers will be warmly invited to “Spot Your Iconic Style,” where a dedicated team of experts will be on hand to cultivate a deeper appreciation for design intricacies and personal expression.
Four distinct themes have been meticulously unveiled, each designed to celebrate rich cultural heritage, generational provenance, and groundbreaking contemporary designs. In thoughtful collaboration with leading lifestyle brands and international fashion houses, the organizers have curated a series of hybrid virtual and immersive in-store events and exclusive trunk shows, all tailored to deliver a safe, elegant, and unforgettable shopping journey.
