Kering has announced a strategic reshuffle at the head of two of its Italian jewellery maisons, naming Charlotte Fournet as Chief Executive Officer of Pomellato and Krizia Cucurachi as Chief Executive Officer of DoDo, effective 15 September 2026. Both leaders will be based in Milan and will report directly to Jean-Marc Duplaix, Group Chief Operating Officer and CEO of Kering Jewelry. The appointments reflect Kering’s intent to accelerate growth across its jewellery portfolio while preserving the distinct heritage and character of each maison.
Charlotte Fournet to Lead Pomellato
Charlotte Fournet will assume leadership of Pomellato as the brand moves into a new phase of development. Her mandate focuses on reinforcing Pomellato’s authentic Milanese identity, enhancing retail performance and pursuing targeted distribution strategies that align with the maison’s luxury positioning. Maintaining the brand’s artisanal roots and design DNA will be central to her approach, alongside initiatives to strengthen customer experience both in-store and through digital channels.
Fournet brings over 14 years of expertise in luxury merchandising and product strategy. She began her career at Saint Laurent in 2014, later joining Gucci in 2019 and then Bottega Veneta in 2020. Most recently she served as Collection Merchandising Director at Bottega Veneta, where she oversaw merchandising strategy across jewellery, accessories, leather goods and ready-to-wear categories. Her background positions her to align product architecture, assortment planning and visual merchandising with Pomellato’s signature craftsmanship and design-driven offerings.
At Pomellato, Fournet will be tasked with optimizing the merchandise mix and strengthening the retail network to better reflect the maison’s premium status in key markets. She will also play a pivotal role in coordinating cross-functional efforts between design, marketing and retail teams to deliver cohesive brand experiences that resonate with both existing clients and new audiences.
Krizia Cucurachi Takes the Helm at DoDo
Krizia Cucurachi will lead DoDo with a strategic focus on expanding the brand’s reach in gifting jewellery, enhancing customer engagement and growing presence in Italy and selected international markets. Her role will emphasize the development of accessible, emotionally resonant collections and the strengthening of DoDo’s brand narrative across channels.
Cucurachi joined DoDo in 2024 as Global Product and Brand Director, where she managed product development, brand image, communications, events, visual merchandising and media. Her responsibilities encompassed shaping product narratives and ensuring consistent brand presentation across touchpoints—a strong foundation for her new CEO responsibilities.
Her prior experience includes more than a decade at Swarovski in senior leadership roles, as well as earlier marketing positions at L’Oréal and Lindt & Sprüngli. With over 16 years of international experience in jewellery and consumer brands, Cucurachi brings a broad perspective on brand building, retail activation and consumer engagement strategies tailored to diverse markets.
In her capacity as CEO of DoDo, Cucurachi will focus on strengthening the maison’s gifting proposition and improving engagement across both physical and digital platforms. She will also be responsible for refining product assortments and campaigns that cater to DoDo’s audience while preserving the brand’s playful and approachable identity.
These leadership changes aim to bolster Kering Jewelry’s management structure as the group looks to unlock additional international potential for Pomellato and DoDo. By appointing executives with deep merchandising, product and brand experience, Kering seeks to combine clear strategic direction with respect for each maison’s signature identity. Both appointments underline a commitment to sustainable growth: enhancing product excellence, refining customer journeys and expanding selective distribution to reinforce market positioning while safeguarding the unique heritage of each brand.
